A Sunday in May at Circuit Paul Ricard, Le Castellet, in the south of France: road cars, racing GTs and prototypes on track, from historic models to the latest machinery.
The circuit
Paul Ricard is recognisable at first glance: the blue and red striped run-off areas frame every pass and give the photos a colour no other track has.
On track
Throughout the day, prototypes in historic liveries, Porsche 911 GT3 Cups, racing GTs and road-going supercars took turns on track. I worked mostly in the corners, with slow shutter speeds and panning to convey speed, and in the pit lane for the details of the cars.
